Director: Tahee McGuire

Tagline: Bland by name, but not by nature

The residents of Blandville Court located in the sea of Sydney’s suburbia tell their stories. Despite where they live, they have a rich pool of experiences and come across as very interesting people.

Although the story is set in Sydney, there are estates like the one shown here in many cities around Australia.

I liked the introduction that featured a montage of various external shots of the housing estate with residents telling parts of their stories.

The highlight of the store were the stories the various residents told, from the ‘creative’ mushroom soup to tales of New Year’s revelry (for them at least.)

This film was very warmly received at the screening I saw it at and it comes highly recommended if you are able to catch it.
